When Nature calls...

It's funny when media channels manage to make news about anybody's tweets, whether that's the President or Hollywood actresses. In a world of more people, the number impacted by storms, earthquakes and other events will just increase. Likewise, technology now enables and demands stories 24 hours, so we are able to witness these events from thousands of miles away as if they really did impact us.
The more positive spin and trend here is perhaps that we cannot but be made more aware of our place in nature. Hence we can feel more optimistic with Brian Deese that those with resources and voices will continue to move the general consensus towards an accommodation with nature. A realization that guests have certain obligations to fulfil for future guests.

Irma, Hurricane Jose: Mother! star Jennifer Lawrence suggests storms are nature's 'wrath' against Donald Trump | The Independent: ""You know, you’re watching these hurricanes now, and it’s really hard, especially while promoting this movie, not to feel Mother Nature’s rage and wrath," Lawrence said. "I’ve heard things and seen things on TV in my own country that devastate me and make me sick, and it’s just really confusing."

Why the Paris Climate Agreement Will Survive Trump | Foreign Affairs: "....the economic, technological, and political forces that gave rise to it are only getting stronger. U.S. policy cannot stop these trends. But inaction from Washington on climate change will cause the United States serious economic and diplomatic pain and waste precious time in the race to save the planet. Sticking with the deal would mitigate the damage and is clearly in the U.S. national interest, but Washington’s failure to otherwise lead on climate change would still hurt the United States and the world. So U.S. businesses, scientists, engineers, governors, mayors, and citizens must step forward to demonstrate that the country can still make progress and that, in the end, it will return to climate leadership. "
