The Economist ran a holiday special article on trains in the middle east, titled 'Murder of the Orient Express'. Isn't it amazing that from Morocco not a single train crosses borders.
While Zuck and co, get excited about Meta, and the crypto bros invent new finance, I think the pandemic has also helped us see more quickly the fundamental human importance of physical connections. I can't help wonder if the Middle East would be helped by more physical connection.
